Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions applies to the sale of goods and other loose property (the products) by Active8 Distribution AB / Rite.se, 556320-8494, (hereinafter referred to as Rite), unless otherwise agreed, in writing between the respective customer (hereinafter called Customer) and Rite. For sales to consumers Rite apply the mandatory rules of applicable law.
Ordering
Ordering the Products are done via Rite.se´s shop www.rite.se, telephone or e-mail. When making an order the purchase contract will apply after that Rite.se has confirmed the order through an e-mail order confirmation. Rite.se reserves the right for any errors that may occur in the information, and errors in any specification, for all of Rite.se´s assortment of products and services. All image information should be considered as illustrations, and can not be guaranteed to reproduce the exact product appearance and characteristics. If any errors in the stock availability status should occur Rite.se reserves the right to correct this post. This means, for example, that if a product of Rite.se´s assortment has expired or for some other reason is not available with due regard for due diligence, Rite.se is not required to provide such product regardless of that the customer ordered the product in question.
Terms of Delivery
Shipping costs We use a unit freight of 120 SEK (about 15€), which means that you pay the same price for the freight, regardless of what you order, provided it is sent to you in Post Office packages. The only exception is when ordering complete bikes, which cost slightly more because of their size and weight, currently 250 SEK (about 9€) / pc. This might seem unfair if you are ordering just a few things or small items, but then we have the option "Letter" which costs 60 SEK (about 5€). This option is however not always possible to use since the goods must fit within the recommended dimensions and weights by the Post Office to be able to be sent as letters, also they can not exceed the value of 400 SEK. Should you come by our warehouse to pick up your items yourself, then, of course, there will be no shipping charge.
If any delivery delays should occur Rite.se will notify you this by e-mail, or through your personal delivery status page. You have always the right to cancel your purchase when long delivery delays occurs.
Rite.se is responsible for the transportation risk, ie. the risk that the goods might get damaged or lost during shipment to the customer. The Customer bears the risk in the event of a return to Rite.se. The Customer is obligated to report any shipping damage to Rite.se within a reasonable time from the moment that the goods have been received. The Customer is therefore responsible for unpacking and inspecting the condition of the goods as soon as possible after receiving the goods. The Customer must also maintain the product´s packaging, so that it can be inspected at the management of claims.
Price and Payment Rite.se´s rates and charges are inclusive of VAT, freight and other taxes and charges.
Payment Security Rite.se ensures that the payment options offered through Rite´s shop are secure.
Privacy and Security In connection with the Customer´s registration and ordering, the Customer agrees to Rite.se storing and using customer data to fulfill its commitments towards the Customer. Rite.se also documents all communication that Rite.se have with customers via telephone or e-mail to be able to provide the service that the Customer expects from Rite.se. Rite.se will not disclose the Customer´s personal information to third parties. According to the Privacy Act, the Customer has the right to obtain the information the company has registered. If the information is inaccurate, incomplete or irrelevant the Customer may request to have that information to be corrected or removed.
Warranty and Right to Complain All of Rite.se´s products comes with a one year warranty and the Right to Complain for 3 years, according to Consumer Purchases.
The product warranty covers only original manufacturing faults, i.e. faults that existed on the product upon delivery. The product warranty does not apply to errors that occur at or after self-made changes in the product´s function and appearance, such as rebuilding, upgrading or configuring the product.
The customer´s receipt / order confirmation / invoice works as proof of warranty.
Right of Withdrawal You have the Right of Withdrawal for 14 days according to the Distance Contracts. The Right of Withdrawal period starts from the day you receive your item. Active8sport pays back the amount within 30 days after receiving the returned item. The customer pays for the return freight.
Service Matters For service and warranty issues, you should first contact Rite.se. Manufacturing faults shall be assessed by an approved service facility, whereupon the customer will receive a free repair or a new product. Service Matters in the event of any errors, damage, etc. incurred shall be payed by the Customer, in accordance with the Consumer Purchases or Merchant Law. In the event of a faulty product Rite.se´s liability to a customer, who is not a consumer, is always limited to 50% of the price of the products the customer purchased of Rite.se.
Choice of Law In these general conditions, the Swedish law applies. Disputes arising out of these terms and conditions between Rite.se and a customer who is not a consumer should be examined at Örebro District Court, Sweden, as the first and only instance.
